Toledo Zoo

When I lived in Ann Arbor, Mi I had a family membership to the zoo. We would go almost twice a month! It is great to visit in the winter! The Polar Bear cubs are adorable, and the elephant exhibit is great too. The African Savannah train ride is worth the extra bucks. And the kids love the merry-go-round because they like to pick their favorite animal to ride on! Check out the ice carving festival, and trick-or-treat party!

Military Discounts – Show your military ID at the admission gate and receive FREE admission. Immediate family members are eligible for the group rate discount. For family members of military personnel who are currently serving, please show your dependent card at the admission gate to be eligible for the group rate discount.

All Lucas County residents are admitted free into the Zoo every Monday between 10:00a.m. – Noon. You Must have a valid I.D. to take advantage of this offer, and it does NOT apply to holidays that fall on Mondays.

Great zoo, that keeps expanding!

It is nice and clean. We had lunch in the old lion cages that were made into seating.

I just remember feeling sorry for the polar bear, it was so hot and he was so caged in and all he did was pace.

I even have a Toledo Zoo baseball cap with a polar bear on it.
