No wonder Toledo zoo makes it to the top 10 zoos of the world, it has the largest variety of animals…it’s USP- the polar bear. Finally it came out of the national geographic for me :-) Also it was a pleasure to watch young engergetic chimps play…I missed the penguin show though :-( But worth it! about 1 year agoGreat Zoo! by peaceforhumansWhen I lived in Ann Arbor, Mi I had a family membership to the zoo. We would go almost twice a month! It is great to visit in the winter! The Polar Bear cubs are adorable, and the elephant exhibit is great too. The African Savannah train ride is worth the extra bucks. And the kids love the merry-go-round because they like to pick their favorite animal to ride on! We had lunch in the old lion cages that were made into seating.
