Grand Forks

Friendly, classy little town – the Blue Moose Resturant had some wicked Buffalo wings.

I’m from Winnipeg so Grand Forks is like a second home. Due to the fact that’s it’s less then 3 hrs away and they have a Target, Bath and Body Works and Gordman’s. It’s not much of a town but to me it’s a cheap easy escape where I can buy stuff I love that you can’t get in Canada.

I want to see Grand Forks as I can meet the parents of my other 0.5 on that trip, and that is what matters. :)

Actually, I was born down the road at Grand Forks AFB. My dad got out after a few months and we moved on, so I don’t remember anything. I’ve heard many stories of horrible winters, but I would not mind coming back some time (in summer) for a look around at things.

A good place to go…homely…
