Palmerston North

Palmerston North is a quiet, sophisticated place. There is a beautiful garden at The Square, good food in restaurants. It is also called the student´s city because of the Massey University. It´s a lovely place and I enjoyed to be there.

Tertiary Education options abound – for the academic student and/or the one seeking a trades qualification. Massey University, Universal College Of Learning, Manawatu Education Academy are only three institutions!

Yeah I know everybody inside and out calls it a hole, but for me it feels like a special place because somebody I really used to love lives there. I want to visit and know what it’s like to be in the same surrondings he grew up in.

I grew up in a small rural community not far from this town.
I seldom go back now, though I spent a few months living there again in 2005 as I was training with a company that is based there.
