It’s absolutely frigid there! -40 celsius with the wind child everyday in winter. My family immigrated to Canada, moved to Timmins and lived there in 1990 because we had relatives in the area. All the relatives have since moved on, but my parents are still live there. Timmins does not offer much in terms of urban entertainment, but you can’t beat the outdoor activities. True outdoor hockey weather, ice-fishing, hunting, snowmobiling. I lived there from 1990 to 1997. And I go back at least once a year for visits! over 6 years ago |
