Worth visiting!
Vizcaya
This is a beautiful place with a lot of history even prior to being set-up in Miami. I’ve been going here since 1967 and I still find new things to interest me when I go. It’s a wonderful place for photography and wedding receptions also. For a few years, I attended Shakespearean play here enacted in the original format sitting out in the gardens. It was great! It’s easy to get to (right at the end of I-95 off US1). There’s also a metrorail station a block away.

A review of this place
The output of a great concentration of wealth. A feel of what old europe may be like. Finally, I visted a villa. Impressive, though I wonder about how inaccessible some rooms on the 3rd floor are. The logistics must have been well planned to build the place in 2 years. The decor is detailed and unique. The number of spaces in the garden to hold socials! Reminds me of The Great Gatsby type house.

This place is so overlooked. Best place in Miami. Absolutely stunning…

Every once in a while...
I visit Vizcaya and get lost in the grandeur of the rooms. It’s nice to visit on a not-so-hot day, which is rare in South Florida. But, if the weather is good, it’s always nice to sit and relax in the beautiful gardens located on the grounds.
