Lake Johnson, (Raleigh) North Carolina

This is a great place! There is canoeing and paddle boating and row boating available—and miles of great trails to bike on or hike. Many of the trails are right next to the lovely lake—stunning in any season, but absolutely breathtaking in spring and fall!
