Little Five Points

I had a great burger here once. Yum.

Def. a must see for tourists. They have great shops, great food, and great people. There are so many different types of people hanging around that just about anyone can fit in here. l5p is probably my favorite place in Atlanta

My best friend and I both got nose piercings in the fall of ‘06. Hers grew over so in the spring of ‘07, we ventured into l5p to get it redone by someone who really knew what they were doing…i.e. Sacred Heart Tattoo.

While we were in town, we did the requisite things- ate at the Vortex (which my Atlanta grown friend had never been to even though she dated a guy who went to Georgia Tech!) and shopped at Junkman’s Daughter. We are going back in the next couple weeks to hang out for a day. It feeds our bohemian roots.

always a fun experience, nice shops, interesting people. little five is a must see if you’re visiting atlanta.

There is such a wonderful mixture of people in this area. All sorts of wonderful shops and you have to eat at the Vortex…awesome food!! You can’t visit Atlanta with out going here.

I was here the day Cobain offed himself.

I lived here. I could walk to my favorite shops, restuarants, bars and walk home. The people are friendly and unpretentious.

My wife’s friend owns and B&B in Inman Park, about 5 blocks from L5P. Since Atlanta is my wife’s hometown and we only live 3 hours away we get there about every other month or so. I’ve been hanging around little 5 on every trip over for about 7 years now.
I’d have to say that L5P is probably the most interesting place in the southeast. There are every kind of people,from homeless, to hoity toity, to punk kid’s with blue hair and every piercing you can imagaine.There are bikers, rastafarians with dredlocks,very manly lesbians, neo hippies and ordinary folks.
The businesses are just as diverse as the people with many good restaurants, coffee shops and retail shops. Junkman’s daughter is like no other store I’ve ever been in anywhere. Euclid avenue yacht club is one of my favorite dive bars in the world.
So unless you’re afraid of diversity I’d say that L5P should be on anyone’s travel list.
