My family has been in TN since the early 1800s and most of them have never left. Wasn’t born there, but have visited and found it to be lovely. Humid, but lovely. :)

Murfreesboro is the fastest growing city in one of the fastest growing counties (second last time I checked) in the country. Small town atmosphere with lots of different types of people and things to do. And not far from Nashville if you want to get away. Excellent schools and really good roads (lots of alternatives during traffic and construction if you know where to look)
