Rockingham

Close to where I live definately a tourist destinatyion.

I’ve lived in Rockingham since ‘92. It has it all, Perths best beaches, a huge shopping centre, golf courses, great parks.

It has the only scuba dive park in the Perth Metro area. People come from all over Perth to learn to scuba dive in Rockingham.

There are a number of wineries, a huge sports complex at Lark Hill. Theres windsurfing and kite boarding, water skiing fishing swimming.

Penguin Island is also part of Rockingham. Its part of the Shoalwater Marine Park. Penguin island is around 400-500m off the beach, and at low tide you can walk there. As long as you dont mind water up to your waste. If you’d rather not get wet you can take the Penguin / Seal Island Ferry.

Rockingham really suits its motto of being “Your Aquatic Playground”
