Cheney Stadium

I totally procrastinated this afternoon and went down to the Rainier’s daygame vs. the Las Vegas 51’s. A guy outside the gate handed us a couple great tickets that he wasn’t using, so that was awesome.
It was definitely fun, the players do a lot more fumbling than in the major leagues, but there were some guys playing that I recognized from days they spent with the M’s. Consessions are pretty cheap, and even though there are no garlic fries, I did see some people with baked potatoes which I thought was different.
The Rainiers won with a homerun walk off in the 10th inning, so all in all a good experience.

I keep saying I want to go see a game down there, but I haven’t made the trek yet. Some day I’ll brave the I5 south corridor to check them out.
