They only have one thing on the menu, and that’s steak. It’s a damn good steak, and it costs around $10, depending on how big of a steak you want. Perfect after climbing up Elbert or Massive or a day of mountain biking or hiking.

The first sound I heard when I stepped out of the van was the crunch of snow underfoot. I leaned back in the van and asked the driver, “This is July, right?”

My honey’s ancestors were miners there, and he’s never been there. It should be fun to look around and hike the 12-mile Mineral Belt Trail.

I think they have the highest golf course too…
