Henry VIII Carvery

You might think a place called the Henry VIII Carvery would be old fashioned or dusty and dank. Wrong! It is clean and bright and they don’t try to do too many things – very smart

They have a cheeky slogan “Our secret’s in the execution!”.

I had the Beefeater – a classic roast beef sandwich on a soft herb buttered bun served with warm au jus. It was exactly what you want when you crave a roast beef sandwich.

There are tons of variations on this theme with different sauces, hot or cold beef or pork or turkey and even salads. This one is in a convenient place right off the Scarborough exit and in the same parking lot as a brand new Cabelas!
