Why I recommend this place to locals

They’ve got some fun installations in place right now; one with spotlights that pulse in time to the heartbeats of people standing at stations scattered around the square, and another with a “beach” floating on a raft complete with sand, chairs, and umbrellas. Saturday night, when we were there, we also got to watch them testing the new LED lights on the CN tower (they look great but the choreography could use some work).

Plus there are street festivals going on every weekend all summer, as far as I could tell. Parking during a Blue Jays game sucks, though; public transportation is highly recommended.
