Extremely nice hotel. I think its better than most on the strip and not so crowded!

Fun but a bit isolated — 1 year ago
I love Mandalay Bay. They have a great sports book, good places to eat, and an awesome pool. The only problem is that if you stay there you are going to find yourself cabbing to the rest of the strip every time you go out because its at the end of the strip. Worth visiting!
The Mandalay Bay is home to many famous restaurants. It boasts some of the best cuisines in town, from Chinese, to Italian, to good old American. Rum Jungle is a favorite of mine, and it also becomes a nightclub after 10pm. There are several shops as you walk around, and it is home to shows as well. I’m not sure if it’s still open, but they used to have an aquarium people could visit and see dolphins swimming and performing tricks.

Worth visiting!
We visited the aquarium, being the science geek that I am, but skipped the rest of the hotel, was there a casino? hehe
Ironically, after seeing all the beautiful underwater creatures, we snuck into the lunch buffet just before they changed over to dinner. Needless to say paying the lunch prices and getting the dinner buffet was definitely the way to go. Probably my favorite meal in Vegas, second only to the Alladin dinner.

Not worth it!
Small roooms, the pools are sort of average.. Not worth the money.
