Aumsville

I moved here in Jan 2004 and love it here. It’s a small town that is nicely located near a couple larger ones! I’m not planning on moving anytime soon! It’s also got the Corn Festival every summer. Yay Corn!

If you like small towns, then this definately fits the term “small town”. With a population of just around 3,000, you will find much of the population more spread out in countryside, as opposed to “in town”. Our Main St. is really the only street with businesses that include our city hall, the Aumsville medical clinic, the veterinary clinic, Neufeldts- a family restaurant, IGA grocery store, and several little locally owned businesses. We have a new state of the art skatepark, and several parks with Mill Creek flowing right through. I like the small town feel I get in Aumsville, where “everybody knows your name”.
