Duckfat

Well maybe not the world but the best fries that I’ve ever had. This place is really really great. I recently moved out of portland and I’ve thought about visiting just to eat at DuckFat

in between Ribbolita’s and Norm’s on Middle Street in the Old Port this is a little store front with some seating, a takeout menu & a magnetic wall board with (mostly naughty) customer created poetry. They have amazing panini, Belgian frites with exotic dipping sauce such as truffle scented ketchup and FIVE DOLLAR milkshakes that sound so decadent I did not dare(yet)
