It’s okay to acknowledge how you felt about it. Find someone to talk to about it that you truly trust. Process it in a diary, a video diary or create something artistic to give it shape so you can move on. Maybe not now, maybe not in a couple of years, but sometime in this lifetime: learn to let it go otherwise it’ll eat you up.
