Woodley Park

Woodley Park is one of my favorite places in DC. It is so serene you can easily forget you are in the middle of the nations capitol. The restaurants are usually great and the people here nicer than any you’ll get near 16 & Penn.

Home to the National Zoo! (Although if you’re going to the zoo, I’ve been told that you might want to consider getting off the Metro at Cleveland Park and walking downhill, rather than going uphill from Woodley Park.)

There are some fairly decent restaurants in this neighborhood—including three Indian restaurants (almost) in a row just across the street from the Metro.
