It’s great to sit on the couch, talk with your friends, or just sit on your computer. It’s a great place to meet with someone for a work meeting, because they won’t kick you out. Chai tea is very good, too.

It’s like having the greatest drink makers and baristas in your living room.

Tryst is a nice alternative for those who like to get their drink on but aren’t into the club scene or the skeezy bar scene. it’s usually crowded, but it’s also laidback and always has a chill, somewhat indie atmosphere. They serve coffee, food AND drinks, so you have a variety. Prices are really reasonable for a D.C. bar & overall, this place is totally worth checking out.

tuna sandwich, amaretto sour, local art, comfortable couches, fresh air when it’s nice outside, and lots of locals

Tryst is the best cafe in DC to chill, have a nice large coffee and get access to free wireless. Or drink.
