The gardens surrounding Blenheim palace.. by Ursula Haigh

are incredibly beautiful. I didn’t even get to see the inside of the Palace having spent the bulk of my time walking the grounds of the estate in awe of the Ginormous Trees that were planted here by Capability Brown in the 1700’s. Just before leaving, I popped over to the food fair exibit at the entrance of the grounds. I bought a deliciously spicy Ginger Cordial to enjoy by the fire on a rainy day this fall and look back at my vacation pix. Oh, this is where Sir Winston Churchill was born.

I visited his gravesite in Blaydon after leaving Blenheim.
