Northwest Film Forum aka: NWFF, N.W.F.F.

NWFF stuff tends to match my taste in movies. I’ve found that I like movies as a way to vicariously travel, and NWFF shows a lot of documentaries and foreign films. Even better, it’s only a 5 minute walk from my place. The only disadvantage is that most of their movies run for less than a week and aren’t showing anywhere else, so if I miss it, it’s gone since I don’t have a good way to play DVDs at home.

Wier gave us the tip on this interesting show at the Northwest Film Forum. He’s going to be one of the 6 live performers for this new soundtrack for a set of old film sequences by Busby Berkeley.

Town Hall and NWFF have been nice additions to my life this year. I’m joining the $35 member level at NW Film Forum, too. Here’s their membership page.
