I lived on Malaga Road, on a tiny “island,” surrounded by a perfectly oval crick.

First I attended Littlest Angels (Sicklerville,) then I went to Radix Elementary, (Williamstown.) In second grade we were doing something in which we had to write Williamstown down. I did not know how to spell Williamstown, but I knew how to spell Sicklerville!

They didn’t understand that I did not live
in the same town as them…

I loved growing up there, but I am glad we moved to Pennsylvania when I was in sixth grade, now I’m closer to Philly!
