Sierra Vista

I’ve been to Sierra Vista a few times, and it is a great town. The town isn’t too big, but still provides major shopping. Aside from a TARGET, OUTBACK, and HASTINGS, there are several small restaurants just outside Fort Huachaca. Also, there is a cool little game store on FRY Blvd. leading to Ft. Huachaca’s main gate. It carries models, paints, Warmachine, and Games Workshop. they also do special orders. Sierra Vista is about an hour from Tucson, which is reasonably close access to a major airport. More importantly, it is only an hour from TRADER JOE’S. If you are near Tombstone or Bisbee, Sierra Vista is a great place to resupply and recharge.

I was taken by how beautiful the scenery was. Regardless of the rest, I’m glad for my visit to this beautiful place.

The last time I was in Sierra Vista, I think there were only 7 stop lights in the whole town. Now I hear it’s a booming metropolis!

I actually grew up in Sierra Vista, and I think it’s the best climate in Arizona. It rarely gets over 100 degrees in the summary and it rarely snows in the winter. Perfect for those that want to retire to a great year-round climate!

The town was better without the mall and outback steak house. It has grown into an mini Tucson.
