Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

Had a fun gathering with friends there. 4 of us started in the bar where we shared some drinks (I had a Blue Moon – ok – 2 Blue Moons) and the following apps:

Spinach and Artichoke Pizza with a garlic cream sauce
Engine 11 Firehouse Wings - Buffalo flavored
Crab dip made with cream cheese, scallions, artichokes and tomatoes

4 more people joined us and we ordered the Monster Nachos with Beef. Yikes.

For dinner I supposedly “shared” a Chop House Steak Salad which is a blend of chopped greens with candied walnuts, crumbled bleu cheese, diced tomatoes, chopped egg, roasted red peppers, carrots and bacon tossed in a bleu cheese vinaigrette topped with bourbon marinated sliced steak and frizzled onions. Very tasty from what I could tell of the 5 or so bites I could manage.

The place was packed. Wood-n-Tap is a Connecticut based chain of 5 places – this one in Southington and others in Hartford, Farmington, Rocky Hil & Vernon.
