Montbéliard

I was here 10 years ago. It’s a lovely town – not much going on but it’s got a quite gentle sort of pace, and there’s some great mountainbiking up in the hills. I cycled from here round Franche-comte & into Switzerland, then finally all the way to Boulogne. Sadly, my favourite bike shop in the world, Cycles Gavillot, is no more, as the Peugeot factory needed a new car park. Bah. Monsieur Gavillot – please open another shop! :-)
