Lacoste

It’s been about 2 years since I went to art school here. But my experiences have remained vivid in my mind to this very day! Somehow, when you come here, all of a sudden the smallest things begin to amuse you. I remember one one particularly rainy day, you could hear the mistral winds and we were gathered around staring at the prettiest stone in Lacoste…And there weren’t even drugs involved!

I had the pleasure of living in this wonderful village for a little over three months. Living in Lacoste was one of the best things that I have ever done for myself. The town is smaller than any other. Only 300 residents reside in Lacoste, but it seems as if 30 live there.

The Lacoste School of the Arts, now owned by the Savannah College of Art & Design, enabled me to spend time in this picturesque village. Being a photographer, it was perfect for me. I loved every minute that I spent there and can’t wait to go back.
