Meriden

There are about 6 Dunkin’ Donuts in the Area, so if you’re not familiar with your surroundings snd happen to stumble upon Meriden… Have no fear, you’ll run into another one in a minute or two.

The Mall is alright, it upgrades and downgrades every so often, haven’t visited it recently but Target is just up the road as well.

Gas prices tend to be a little cheaper on the West side of town over by Hubbard park, or they were, by now I highly doubt it makes a difference. You never know though!

Born and raised here, recently moved away but it’s still home, big yet small enough at the same time, some people know everyone, some don’t. One thing is for sure – - Everyone knows Stretch and sees him walking around town every single day.

In the central part of the state so that both Hartford and New Haven are equally apart, give or take twenty minutes+.

I thought it was great

I happen to live here. On the edge thankfuly. Relocated from New Orleans so I am BORED here, but it is now home so I have to make the best of it.

I’ve lived here 21 of my 23 years. Like all cities, we have bad sections and good sections, but nothing to be scared of. Not exactly a tourist destination, we are ethnically diverse, have a decent mall, are in a prime location, and have some of the best hiking in CT.

It’s just amazing. I mean, the view and everything. If you look well enough you can actually see the ocean.

Scary place to live when you’re a little white girl. The fear of getting jumped far outweighed any beauty I saw in that city.

But I’m sure it’s fabulous, I just missed that part.

Probably not anymore though. Small town right off I-91/691, wedged between Bridgeport, New Haven, and Hartford. Not much happening there. Lived there for 17 years.
