seattle underground tour  — 8 months ago

    Worth visiting!

I recently stayed in Capitol Hill on a visit to Seattle. Visited with some friends of mine who moved to Seattle a year or so ago, and we all went to do the Underground Tour. Anything dark, underground, and historic suits me just fine. Very entertaining.

The last time I went to this place  — 11 months ago

    Worth visiting!

This was a very pleasant place to be in the afternoon during the month of May, with live music playing, people playing bocce ball, and people generally sitting and relaxing. I ate lunch in Pioneer Square as well, which was delicious (though I don’t remember the name of the place we got our food).

if you like books or reading or awesome, you should probably get yourself to the elliot bay bookstore.

Parking is a bitch, but the Underground Tour is an all right way to spend a day.

Its a shame that clubs in seattle close as early as they do!

Staying for three days in a studio apartment with a wall full of windows, leather couches and more books than I could ever read = amazing! Plus it didn’t hurt that it directly paralleled not only a toy store but a martini bar and a restaurant with rather odd hours.

    rusticity  — 2 years ago

    Worth visiting!

Definitely worth a visit on a trip.. it’s the rustic part of downtown. Go during the day. Many great things here.. mainly building architecture, restaurants, and many of the nightclubs. Salumi, Zaina, Wazobia’s, Cow Chip cookies, Cafe Hue, etc.

If you’re not into loud pubs, bikers, dudes looking ”’ta get sum” before the Bremerton ferry’s last call, avoid 1st ave. on weekend nights. Makes for great urban environmental sounds, if you’re planning on making one, though. The pretzel stands at night are great too.
