Why I recommend this place to visitors
I didn’t get to go inside but it’s incredibly impressive from the outside. It’s surrounded by a lovely green space which was covered with people enjoying the sunshine and admiring the view.
I’d like to come back one day and do the “tower” tour, which is meant to be quite hair raising with lots of tiny winding staircases!

16th Century Graffiti..
When I gazed upon the names that had been carved into the stone walls of the cathedral, I was reminded of the saying, the more things change-the more they stay the same!
A Tip for Jane Austen fans- her crypt stone is laid into the floor of the Cathedral. I posted a photo of both
