A tip I have about this place
Don’t forget to stop in Sluys Bakery while you’re there.

Home
Poulsbo is actually quite nice, known as “Little Norway”, its a good place to visit.
There are lots of shops and bakerys, and the waterfront is beautiful, only a 30 minute ferry ride from seattle, and a short drive from Bainbridge Island will get you here. Also every year we have Viking Fest, with booths, and rides. Come and see it for yourself.

Little Norway
You must visit Poulsbo if you live in Washington and are of Norwegian heritage. Poulsbo is known as the “Little Norway” and the town provides you with everything from fattigman to fiskeboller. Very fun!

No Place Like Home
Poulsbo has been my home for 18 years. I currently live in Arizona and all I can do is dream about going back. It may be small and it may be in Washington (where it rains a lot?) but it is beautiful and there is no other place like it. It’s not until you are gone that you realize what you miss.
