Sequim

The lighthouse on the Dungeness Spit is really neat, and a great hike. There is also a campgrounds there.

and drove to Sequim this morning with my son. He had an appraisal to do & I love road trips so he said it would be good to have company! We stopped at the S’Klallum Native Art Gallery on the way back. Beautiful artwork by different tribes in the Pacific NW. Had lunch at the Snug Harbor Cafe and great weather for the drive. The only glitch was when the Hood Canal Bridge opened for marine traffic and we had to wait for about 15 min.

Cool little town… We stayed at a local b and b here… Also lots of indian casinos around… and those lovey mountains…

My aunt and cousin are planning a visit next summer (2006) because my aunt is thinking of retiring up there, and I’m invited provided I can come up with airfare. I haven’t travelled very much, so even though Washington isn’t that far from California, I still REALLY want to go because the only other places I’ve been that are out of state are Tijuana and Las Vegas.
