Fort Stewart

Don’t get confused with Ft. Stewart & Hinesville, since they are separate locations. Ft. Stewart seems to be going through a renovation of certain parts of the base, so you’ll see structures being built in places that were empty before. Also, if you get a chance, visit the tree-lined pathways found near the golf course & parade field serving as a memorial for the fallen Ft. Stewart soldiers. There’s also a museum located on the base too, in case you’d like to know more about the history of the Rock of the Marne & other interesting bits.

Although coming here was the worst thing in my life, I can’t change the past, and can’t blame the town for what happened to me. While I was there I didn’t get to see as much as I would have liked. But it’s an alright place.

Fort Stupid!

I have reason to believe that this is the Camp Swampy of the Beetle Bailey cartoons. Can anyone confirm this for us?
