Pickering

Does anyone know of any good churches in the Pickering area?

Has anyone been to the Fox and the Fiddle (Kingston & Liverpool)? Hubby and I just went last week and were pleasantly surprised. It looks like quite the fancy restaurant and it has some great charm and atmosphere. But we were very happy with the prices (8ish for a good sized burger; they also offered steak and seafoood)- and the food was good.

The only thing that was a little strange was finding the entrance – it’s at the front of the building – there is a ramp which leads to a door with an open sign nearby, but that is the “handicapped” entrance and you have to ring a bell to get in. Once we were seated we watched several other people climb up and down the ramp – glad we were not the only ones.

So if you’ve been what do you think of it?

Wow – it’s great to see more people in Pickering – when I signed up on 43things – it showed I was the only one.

So good to know I’m not alone!
