News about this place
The Fremont Sonic Boom has been closed since early 2008. :(
Its replacement has yet to be determined. So far, it looks like a Pinkberry rip-off place called MooBerry, but that could change any day.

V. handy for a good casual browse through CDs
If you’re in the area—reasonable selection, always at least something to find, and there’s enough else going on in the neighborhood that you can make it a good stop in between coffee and sushi. For instance.

Yippee.
I’m constantly going there to buy records. I like them a lot more than chain stores because they import different kinds of music from around the world and carry tons of local music. It’s great.

Vinyl lovers: check out the vinyl annex!
It’s behind and around the alley from the main store. Great stuff there.
(Also, for vinyl lovers, Jive Time is up a block and a half as well.)

super cute
While traveling through seattle we made a stop at this cool looking little shop. Inside we found lots of interesting CD’s, custom designed band merch, and even an R2D2 filled with free music. I loved it. :)
