The interior is like the tackiest Chinese restaurant you ever had the pleasure to visit. Seeing the dragon chandelier in the banqueting room (which I understand can be rented out) is worth the price of admission (about 6 pounds). The place is crazy and a great way to spend an hour. over 7 years agoA Uniquely Capricious Pleasure Palace! by DianeOThe star attraction of Brighton, self-annointed “London-by-the-Sea,” is the restored Royal Pavilion, a pseudo-Oriental pleasure palace built in the late 1700s by the Prince Regent, later King George IV. over 7 years ago |
