The Wadden Sea stretches from the Netherlands to Denmark. It is characterized by a great change in water level between high and low tide and it has a unique ecosystem. At low tide, you can even walk to some of the beautiful islands there. Anyway, you should make a tour through the “Watt”. It feels very funny to walk barefoot over the ground that is covered by the sea half of the time. However, you need an experienced guide, as the water comes back very quickly at high tide.
