Where my trenchcoat comes from by Riccardo Cambiassi
I was wandering through Ireland west coast in 1996, when the stormy weather convinced me to buy a trenchcoat. We’ve been siamese twins since then.

Sadly, the tourists have taken over but if you go off-season, you’ll meet the locals, who are nice in the extreme. There are three pubs in Doolin, with O’Connors being the largest and most touristy, and McGann’s and McDermott’s down the road in Roadford, a 10-minute walk from the pier. I’ve always found the best music and most friendly staff at McDermott’s…my favorite pub in all of Ireland. over 7 years ago |
