A tip I have about this place

right now there is an exhibit of Johsel Namkung’s photography up. his work is some of the most interesting large scale photography i’ve ever viewed. the composition and colors are mesmerizing. i highly recommend catching this exhibit. it will be up until oct. 15.

Untitled

To inaugurate my quest to visit every museum in seattle, I spent some time at Seattle Asian Art Museum. The docent led tour of the Orchid Pavillion Gathering and Ch’ung-ho Chang Frankel exhibits was excellent. I want to go back and spend much more time here.

Many Times

We have gone together three times and I have gone at least five. The art is beautiful, try to go on a day that they have an event.

2fer1 admission

If you go to their web site and print out the home page you can get a 2 for 1 admission deal ($2.50 each). Valid until April 1.

Two of the three current exhibits were a bit too similar (chinese painting + chinese calligraphy/more painting), but it was still cool.
