Book Overload by BombshelleCandice

omg. this place is a mecca. I love it more than Strands in NYC. So many rare and unusual books. A MUSTVISIT for Portland.

I love Powell’s but sometimes I find it a little too large and overwhelming. Powell’s also has some smaller locations and I particularly like the one on Hawthorne. It still has a great Powell’s feel but is a little more my scale.

I (heart) Powell's by sloeginfizz

I live in Portland and I love to visit Powell’s. It is fun to browse the bookshelves and also to hang out in the coffee shop. Powell’s has book readings almost every night. You can find the calendar at http://www.powells.com/events

If you are looking for a specific book check in at the help counters for the exact location. You can also look for the location on the website. Otherwise, you will not be able to find it!!!
