Wolvercote Cemetery

...and you can guess what, given the chief/only entry for this location. But given that any cemetery is a place of sorrow and reflection, I felt that it was appropriate as a setting—the day was nice, the mood restrained and calm among our party. It was, as it should be, a place of peace.

I missed this cemetery when I was studying in Oxford, but on a return trip I took red carnations to his grave. His and his wife’s elvish names are inscribed on their shared tombstone.
