How this place changed my life  — 1 year ago

Worth visiting!

I was able to stay at the dorms at this campus for 4 glorious days, due in part because I won in my state’s History Day competition. Here on the Maryland Campus, I met my first boyfriend—who is still to this day the most amazing person I have ever met, even though we’re not together anymore. Here on the Maryland Campus, I made tons of new friends and discovered so much about myself. I was able to let loose and have a blast every single day. Here on the Maryland Campus, I lived off of “No-Doze” and Coca-Cola, so as to never miss a minute of my adventure. I stayed up late, in to the wee hours of the morning, having conversations that lasted hours with people who I had just met a few days before. These memories have made me in to the person I am to day, and I have College Park to thank!

Worth visiting!

I’m not a student myself, but I visited the campus with a friend that is, and it’s a really interesting campus.

Very aesthetically pleasing, and relaxing.

I wouldn’t mind attending classes there myself.

Back when it was Cole Field House I used to play Bball there when we could get in; also Richie Collisium.

Worth visiting!

While the outskirts of the city look ghetto for a college town, I would not want to go to any other university.

Worth visiting!

went to my very first college football game here with my friend chris (who went to UMD). coming from a university that barely had a football team, it was really overwhelming to see the sea of red cheering on the terps.

Worth visiting!

There’s also a Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins! All kidding aside, I think College park is not too bad. It’s fairly suburban however.
