Renton

I lived in Renton at three different times in my life. Nothing noteworthy, but I didn’t hate it.

Was fun to go back recently and take my flatmate to see the Jimi Hendrix gravesite, which had been changed since I was there two decades ago…

for most of my life. I like it, but that may be because almost all my Washington friends live in the Renton area. Every time I go back, I’m filled with great memories. I miss it, but it’s super expensive to live there now.

A bunch of my friends live there so…it’s “worth visiting” for me.

I was able to spend two years of my life here in renton, now that I have left I feel like a part of me is missing, I hope to return one day.

but thats about it. The Whistlestop Ale House and the Dog and Pony Tavern are two nice non-smoking taverns with a great selection of beers and pretty good food. The old downtown area of Renton seems to be trying to revive itself, but its a struggle.

i grew up here and can no longer afford to live here, sucks.
