Restaurant Review: Charlie Trotter’s – Chicago

My wife and I went to celebrate something (can’t remember what it was). But I can tell you I had a fantastic time. Our server took us for a tour of the entire establishment. Everything from the kitchen to the staff changing area. From the private dining areas to the wine cellars (yes there are a couple of them). Easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had!!!! Next time you guys go, make sure you ask for Herbie as your server.

BTW, the food was excellent and the service was impeccable!

The service wasn’t hot, our waiter was a bufoon. The food good, but nothing to make it have the stellar reputation it has…

ridiculously expensive, yes, but worth it!
