Saint Marys

This is where my home is. As a travel nurse, I need a home base. Hot, humid, buggy, but my loved ones are here and so is my house, for now.
A great place to visit in later Septermber-early Nov and late Jan-March other times it’s just too hot or too rainy.
Don’t miss Cumberland Island or the shops of St. Simons. Also, see if you can make it to the Beaches in Jacksonville, FL.

I like the small town atmosphere. At first, it’s a little stifling but it’s grown on me. Everything downtown is so kitschy and cute. The bed and breakfasts are adorable. The only drawback are the biting gnats so bring bug spray. Try Blue’s Barbeque by Exit 3 at I-95, I assure you it is the best BBQ you will EVER have!! I love it. :) And trust me, I live here!!!
