Columbia City

Used to live in this neighborhood for about 5 years. One of the best kept secrets in Seattle, though it seems people are catching on. Any leads on apartments available would be much appreciated, as I’m thinking of moving back!

Columbia City has been booming the last few years with new businesses, eateries, pubs, pizza and movie theaters. It is almost too good to be true. We’ll have to wait and see how the new live work spaces change the area, but I’ve been amazed to see Columbia City develop a nightlife of sorts, as well as some stalwart new businesses that make it a regular draw.

The farmer’s market is open every Wednesday afternoon, so if you’ve never explored this South End neighborhood, consider a visit to the market and a stroll through the district. I bet you dig it.
