Nowadays there are a lot of condos and trendy clubs, but they haven’t quite managed to get rid of the homeless people. Somehow I don’t think they’re going to do it by building homes that cost half a million dollars to own. So anyways, be ready for an interesting and very sharp split in the kind of folks you’ll meet there: youngish folk dressed in the newest, most expensive clothes, and street people layered in garb from the nearest Salvation army. over 6 years agoI call it home by Bruce MooreIt’s what I see when I look out my windows. I’ve lived in the Seattle area for 25 years and Belltown is by far, my favorite neighborhood. I spend most of my free time building a website about the real estate. More and more people are deciding to walk to a concert or movie, rather than listening on the radio or going to the nearest Blockbuster. The condominium market is exploding as we yearn for the hustle and bustle of urban living. For many, it’s becoming more savvy and fullfilling to live a busy life.
