Hampden

I have driven through Hampden, but I’ve never really been to Hampden, per se. Sad, because I’ve lived in Baltimore-area for, oh, let’s say 15 years now. How is that even possible?!

I was born in the Hampden/Medfield area here. and I still go back fairly often (I also have a couple relatives who still live here). Hampden is awesome.

The first time I went to Hampden was for my birthday is February. I fell in love and moved here in March.

Hampden is the place to go in Baltimore. Don’t miss The True
Vine record store. A hidden gem with a friendly, knowlegable
staff and the coolest stock imaginable. Then there’s Atomic Books, and comix, and magazines. Bring money…

This is where John Water’s “Pecker” was filmed. Also where I lived the first 12 or so years of my life. Weird little place.
