I’ve wanted to visit for a long time. I finally made it today and am very glad I went. Allow about 2 hours to take everything in. I had no idea that the interior would be so extravagant and lush. It was quite a site.

finally went here by pumpkinspice

It’s such a pretty house! I love the library and how it opens into the small conservatory at the end with the fountain. The whole room made me want ot curl up on a cushion by the beuaitful fireplace and make up stories about the cat painting on the mantle, just like Mark Twain and his daughters did.

Aw his home is so precious, it still has the furniture and such, he was a really small man.

fond, fond memories... by HobokenMartha

My late great-aunt lived about 10 minutes from this remarkable place, and we went a couple of times. What a glorious, crazy, family-loving, dream-chasing life Twain led, and you see it in every room.

Mr Twain by Frannie Girl

If you are a fan of Twain’s works you will TRULY enjoy his house. It fully represents his sense of humor and is well worth the trip. The architecture is also STUNNINGLYGORGEOUS!!!!!
