Since the drought has taken a toll on the southeast, the falls have suffered. The last time I was there this fall 2007 the falls were nearly non-existent.

Fun & Beautiful by atmos

This was the first place I ever went rock climbing outside of a gym. There’s an excellent mix of routes for people who are first timers, and more challening ones for those who turn their noses up at simple shit. There’s a great camping area, gorgeous hiking trails, and of course the falls. It’s about 25 minutes outside of Chatanooga, and the air is just … clean.
