Camuy

The Camuy Caves were pretty fantastic – perhaps not the best in the world, but definitely worth visiting if you’re anywhere near the north-central region of Puerto Rico. But the “real” treat in that region is driving up into the mountains on small one-lane roads. You have to beep your horn constantly to alert oncoming drivers whenever you approach a bend in the road (and on the thick, mountainous, jungle roads – there are bends every few seconds!) It’s worth the drive … particularly when you can see the Camuy Caves before/after the drive….
